December 07

First, an apology for not getting this out sooner, but the qualification is that I find myself needing a looser structure for this work while tightening down other areas. Pardon the inconvenience, but I’ve found that things happen when they need to.

Introductory Material:
As we move into December a long, related wash of planetary activity is finally coming to a close. Since the last days of August, 2 eclipses have been accompanied by the stationing of Pluto, Chiron, Neptune, Mars, and Uranus, with a Mercury retrograde thrown in. The final punctuation mark comes with the station of Saturn, on December 19, just preceding the Winter Solstice.

*Just as a reminder, the station of a planet occurs when a heavenly body of our solar system slows down in its orbital speed and, from our perspective on Earth, stops and changes direction, either from direct motion to retrograde motion, or vise versa. At such times we usually observe social, political, and psychological currents shifting (in a manner correspondent to the nature of the planet, or planets, in question), and as well oftentimes it is possible to predict events around the stationing of planets.

This string of electromagnetic charges, each bringing increasing intensity, can be likened unto a long, building pulse of cosmic energy, and it is my opinion that this pulse is commensurate to a significant level change in consciousness for all of humanity on the planet. Of course, what we do with it is up to us as individuals and groups.

At this time I need to emphasize, in no uncertain terms, that we find ourselves at one of the most critical junctures of human history. Why? Because there will be 3, or possibly 4, more of these pulses leading up to what amounts to an impending truncation in our evolutionary development as a species on the planet. The well-worn expression “quantum leap” is accurate enough to convey what is on the horizon for us in about two years.

As individuals or groups, we may use these pulses to surge forward in consciousness in preparation for the massive changes ahead of us. There are, though, other choices- this being a “free will zone”. Many will go on about their lives- unaware, or in denial, that any kind of alteration of reality is occurring. There is plenty of propaganda and enough “material opiate” to keep uncounted millions busy.

As we are well aware, there is a highly polarizing force that is actively attempting to arrest any forward movement in human, or any other, growth and evolution. Hence I have previously mentioned the “Y” in our development. It is imperative we no longer focus on the polarizing force of those playing role of “shadow”. It is only important that we notice that them mirroring our own inner fear and resistance. Then, with acceptance that this is indeed where we are at in the process of our evolution, no matter how fearsome and/or ridiculous it may appear, we have the power of choice to embrace a sane and loving paradigm.

Between now and the end of 2009 and on into 2010 this dark reflection will only increase in horrific magnitude until we finally release it by creating a substantially significant energetic percentage to turn the tides. Sort of a “hundredth monkey” kind of thing.
It would be inaccurate to envision this turning as “winning”. It is best to release competitive pictures. Just look at it as successfully creating viable, healthy alternatives.

Such an approach to life, the commitment to consciousness, takes an enormous amount of conviction and spiritual strength. What it requires, at this point in time, is a removal of all resisting energy from what we fear, be it an impending invasion of Iran or a perceived inability to control personal finances. Then there can be a positive refocusing of vital, co-creative energy into what is truly desired. Peace. Abundance. Love. Harmony. Equality. Connection.

Planetary aspects and transits of a very radical nature await us. The triple conjunction (stellium) in Aquarius of Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune. An intensely significant opposition of Saturn and Uranus moves to the forefront of our experience in October, 2008, for the duration of over a year. And here is something else I’ll be focusing on quite a bit as time passes: all three outer planets, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, with the addition of Chiron, changing Astrological Signs within three years- beginning in February of 2008 and completing in April of 2011.

This radical configuring of the stars is actually reflecting our inner desire for growth in awareness. There is a collective yearning for a better way of living. Even those of a conservative, reactionary ilk are being drawn to the possibility of a better life, if only on subconscious levels. They have the greatest fear of the unknown. Even though they look at what isn’t working with bleary eyed worship, way deep inside everyone wants the experience of loving connection.

The current status quo is cold, calculated abusiveness: denial-ridden, judgment-oriented, fearful, controlling, dishonest, and murderous, extending into heartless genocide. No actual human being wants to live like this. But abusers have great difficulty facing their abuse, just like homophobes will do just about anything not to face their latent homosexual tendencies.

But enough! Let us be aware of what we have created through many lifetimes of struggle and growth. Taking responsibility and dropping blame allows a more compassionate stance. The aggressive stellar positionings point us toward becoming the “star potential” that we really are!

Current Astrology:
As we near completion of the current pulse, the predominant lesson which seems to be emerging has to do with reducing dependence upon external circumstances as a means to maintaining emotional equilibrium and a general sense of well-being. I’m not saying we all need to do with less in our lives. I am saying it is an appropriate time be aware of the quality of “havingness” we are experiencing. Pay particular attention to the mind’s projections. Abundance, for example, is a state of being independent of what the mind might thinks it needs to be abundant.

We do not need to have things happen exactly according to what the mind is projecting in order to feel happiness, security, or a sense of well-being. For example, I am learning to be okay whether or not Bush and Cheney are impeached.

The Saturn station on the 19th of December punctuates this surge of difficult learning with a note of heaviness on the holidays. Saturn’s first station in Virgo points to the responsibility we have towards helpful healing of ourselves and others. By not allowing the projections of the mind rule our lives, we heal ourselves. Getting used to the fact that we cannot seek resolve outside ourselves will empower us.

One secret I’d like to share about the holidays this month would be to look inside to see where we can do the most good. Planning a holiday shindig for a million people even though we feel like having an intimate, uncomplicated time might not be the best thing. If we all take responsibility from “inside-out,” then what occurs will be natural and unforced.

There is a Jupiter/Pluto conjunction this month on the 11th. This points to the individual and collective growth and learning we have accumulated since Pluto moved into Sagittarius in 1995. I’m not sure this aspect will generate any significant events, but it might benefit us to note cultural, political, and legal shiftings during this 12 year time period (we’ve come a long way, haven’t we?). Also, international relationships would be worthy of objective scrutiny. It is interesting to note the revelation of the National Intelligence Estimate concerning Iran’s status in nuclear development came out under this planetary influence.

Following the Saturn station, an energetically charged Full Moon falls on the 24th of the month. A retrograding Mars conjuncts the Cancer Moon, while Mercury and Jupiter conjunct the Capricorn Sun, hence creating a loaded opposition of energies. We are likely to notice some tension between the home and family and profession and community. It would be beneficial to find some healthy balance between those areas to get us through Christmas Eve and the holidays in general. Another battle might be between practicality and sentimentality. Fighting to get our way could be significantly less effectual than checking with our inner child and then peacefully conferring with family members and friends.

January and February will pass with no planetary stations except a Mercury retrograde beginning on the 19th of the latter month. So we have a good in-between time to be used for establishing positive inner focus and freshly directed toward our goals. There are, however, two eclipses during February and, as I mentioned earlier, Pluto initiates its transition into the sign of Capricorn. I expect we shall witness significant political news in the second month of 2008, and it may or may not be what we want to hear. Our main concern, however, should be using conscious co-creation to raise our vibration to the new frequencies becoming available to us.

October 07

Introductory Statements:

Last month I wrote about a huge “Y” in the course of the evolution of humanity on this planet.  I mentioned that we would likely be feeling a sense of separation from others who do not share our vision.  A sad but inevitable reality.  This month I am raising the bar in consciousness to challenge us to go a step further.

Allow me to suggest that we not stop with the “energetic release” (which does not imply abandonment, just a detachment from their projections about you and their world in general) of family, friends, and all others who are not committed to compatible goals in spiritual awareness.  From this month and henceforth our pet projects are to come into scrutiny as to their sustainability within the scope of our lives.  “Pet projects” is an interesting turn of phrase because our endeavors are mainly “projections” from our consciousness into reality.  It is time to discover whether what we are projecting is worth the time and energy.

Hence the “Y” goes from external divisions inward towards the “true Self”.  What part(s) of the Self are truly the most essential?  Perhaps it is time we stop energetically feeding what is no longer needed and what does not represent what we truly desire.  What we might discover is a huge reservoir of creative energy that was being wasted.  This kind of waste can be both a drain and a creativity block.

There is a new vibration, or frequency, becoming more and more present which makes conscious co-creation increasingly viable.  This frequency is being introduced by way of what I’d term “pulses,” for lack of a better word, occurring approximately twice annually (each release extending over a period of 3-4 months).  We can become more in touch with the new frequency by noticing an increasing lack of “delay time” between any decision to manifest something and its actual manifestation.  Whether we are manifesting in the positive or the negative- what we desire, or what we do not desire- is not the point.  The point is to be aware that it is happening- at lightning speed.  Our fears, or our true dreams, big as life.

If we manifest blockages (what we seemingly did not ask for) it is really okay because that points to an energetic inconsistency between (our) vibration and Source energy.  This is a gift if we only accept it.  Then we may utilize (and thereby transform) the block by removing our (negative) attentive focus from whatever it was we didn’t want.  It is of utmost importance to become aware that extra-rapid manifestation is now the norm; it is proof of the new times we are entering.

More and more, it is becoming not only useless but counterproductive to rail at what is disturbing.  The broadest spectrum of life experience possible is to be under scrutiny: from world politics to the most minute of everyday personal issues.  If we remove our negative attention and turn the focus to what we desire from a Soul level we will utterly transform our realities.  The new frequency requires this sort of approach to life, and we still have a couple of years to engage in the process of co-creative experimentation and learning.  After 2009-10, the quantum leap will have been made, and I’m not sure I can say what will be available because the paradigm(s) will have shifted.

 Astrology:

October features three stationing planets.  Mercury will go retrograde on the 12th, Chiron will go direct on the 19th, and Neptune will go direct on the 31st.  Both Chiron and Neptune are traversing the sign of Aquarius, while Mercury transits the sign of Scorpio.  These three shifting forces, along with Mars and Uranus stationing in November, and Saturn going retrograde in December in concert with the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction, are all part of the current pulse in consciousness sweeping humanity.

Mercury is the planet of communication, thinking, and connecting (among other things).  Since Scorpio is the sign of hidden things and secrets, this retrograde implies a search to uncover hidden truths (or falsehoods) which, once discovered, might allow for a successful new focus.  Communication, for several weeks, probably will not focus upon the  lighter subjects, and sweetness will not be the major emphasis.  Deep honesty is the best way to go; it just might be cathartic!

Mercury actually stations (changes direction and focus) on a square (difficult angle) to an also stationing Chiron.  Since Chiron is the Wounded Healer, and Aquarius is the sign of “enlightened change,” the phrase, ‘The truth shall set ye free,” becomes especially meaningful during October.  The search for hidden agendas may not even be conscious; stuff could just pop out of nowhere, so watch out!

The Chiron station is representative of any kind of healing, especially concerning inner knowingness, and possibilities for transforming long time issues open up in October.  The latter part of the month is the most potent.  I suggest getting psychic readings, energy work, massage, or other forms of counseling and help to make the most of this time.

Already Esther and I have been feeling the negative aspects of the ensuing Neptune station.  An underlying sense of  unease and a creeping in of some confusion have come to our attention, in our lives as well as clients, friends. and acquaintances.  Let me give a reminder that spiritual freedom from worries, fears, disillusions, malcontent, and tendencies toward negative projections into current and future events is the ultimate intention of Neptune’s sojourn through the sign of Aquarius. We are doing our best to be kind to ourselves as we face an inward need for change.  Dissolving the worst so the best can happen, so we can co-create out of spiritual knowingness and trust- a universal issue this month and on into November.  Halloween aside, a lot of creepy stuff can come up this month.  Saturn, now firmly into the healing sign of Virgo, says we must work hard to overcome negativity.  Helping others can help us help ourselves.

It’s all about learning how creative consciousness operates.  Acceptance of what is past, and what is, is the key to transformation and transcendence.  We have to have compassion for ourselves and others; after all, we have been operating on limited information.  For those who have life partners, be kind and tolerant and patient.  For those who are on your own, for the present, find ways to nurture yourselves; you are not really alone, and never are.

The Full Moon in early Taurus on the 26th is a good time to experience a sense of “havingness”.  This is a harvest moon, and we should all take time to acknowledge our life on the planet as a blessing.  Try to focus on the positive in life; there is so much that can be perceived as evil- it’s a good time to let all that go.  Even in the spacey Neptune station we should endeavor to connect with our “grounding cords”.  Making sure we are connected in a healing way to Mother Earth can only be helpful.

The otherworldly feeling of the Neptune station should wear off a few days into November.  Then things will begin to energize.  Mercury goes back direct on the 2nd, so there is a shift that could be seen as a balancing of energies.  Mars stations on the 12th in Cancer, so prepare to rev up the emotional engines and move toward making something right.

The month of November is definitely more energetic (in quality) than October.  Uranus stations in the sign of Pisces later on in the month on the 24th.  Now halfway through that sign, Uranus is not nearly through shaking up our belief systems.  Humanity’s lack of belief in itself as a positive force is being exposed.  Governments and religions have been more than willing to reflect our worst fears about ourselves back to us.  Look to November as a time of mobilization, if in its incipience, toward creating a more positive self image, individually and collectively.

I probably won’t write again until mid-November, so until then seek to discover your “healing truths”.

Sincerely,

Joshua Hayward

September 07

Introductory Statements:

As we approach September of 2007 it would benefit us to be aware of the coming “reality shift”.  This Autumn presents another series of challenges intended to push along the envelope of human consciousness.  There will be two basic responses.  Many people will go on, or attempt to go on, as before, ignoring the world changing around them.  Others of us will endeavor to change our focus deeper to the Soul Level as we continue to learn to make our choices from an inner perspective.  Many people of the world will keep trudging on with the same rigid belief structures, while others of us will perceive the need to evolve our values and moral orientations to the truths we discover awakening within us.  A large base of humanity will continue to cling to religion and “faith-oriented” practice, while a growing segment of people all over the Earth will be reaching out to spirituality and inner knowingness as a path through the vastness and intensity of life on Earth.

What I am describing here is a huge “Y” in the evolutionary course of humanity.  The peoples of the world will not be moving together as One during the initial Quickening of the Aquarian Age.  To me, this is a sad truth.  Indeed, when I think back upon the visions of an enlightened future that touched me long ago as a youth, I have to fight through feelings of disillusionment.  I have to think we have just not gotten there yet.

But this is what I see, for now: we are all becoming the creations of our held beliefs and expressions of our inner knowingness.  We are becoming what we project as true, and our outer lives, more and more, are manifesting as realized reflections of what we are creating with our thought forms, individually and collectively.

I am discovering an exhilarating freedom and a rising joy filling my experience as I embrace what I call my causal nature.  While I do not wish to project my reality upon anyone else, I will indeed share what I am learning.  Knowing I have the powerful ability of choice within my experience, and developing an energetic awareness to utilize creative self-expression wisely, makes all the difference in an increasingly difficult world.

Many will choose to join myself and others who resonate with the new frequencies, while many, many others will not.  For those of us who do vibrate to conscious co-creation, or the more popular term, “the law of attraction,” it can be a compassionate act to release (energetically) from our experience all that does not vibrate with us.

This Fall, and increasingly so in the future, those of both sides of the coin will be charged by energies present to let go of people, and situations as well, that are not supportive of the directions we are being called to take.  We would do well to remember that there is no separation, ultimately.  Those we love will always be connected to us, but we are being called to be firm in standing by our choices.  At this time absolute integrity in choice is critically important, with scarce room for sentimentality.  Economy of motion and action is required;  no need to make a big scene- just move.

The Saturn/Neptune opposition is finally pulling apart now, but it left us with an intense vibrational frequency in which we must live.  Our creations will become more and more real- every day.  In other words, what we fear and resist will manifest quicker and with more intensity.  Also, what we truly desire, our joy and our bliss, will also manifest with startling alacrity and measure.  It is a stepped up frequency, and how we decide to experience life at these levels is up to us.

Hence the “Y”.  Humanity is going in two basic directions, forward or backward.  Religion and fear-based control is the old; Spirituality and courageous inner directedness is the new.  It does not matter what we choose, but choose we must, and this applies to all areas of life.  Neptune says to spiritually surrender to what we find we cannot control at any rate.  Saturn says to apply our energies with diligence where can make a difference for ourselves and others.

The two groups of humanity will be producing two quite different kinds of mass experience.  This will necessarily happen; it is already set in motion.  It is a mistake to think we can control what is about to happen.  We are, however, quite capable of choosing how we will experience the apocalyptic events quickening along our time line.

I have said before in previous issues that humanity is moving to a critical juncture which will occur during the latter part of 2009 and the beginning of 2010.  September through December of the current year represents yet another intense “reality shift” along the path toward that Quantum Leap

we’ll take in a couple of years.  I suggest we all take steps to insure that we enjoy the ride, like releasing all attachments, focusing on acceptance rather than resistance, and gently persisting with what our Souls desire.

An Explanatory Note:

After proofreading this issue Esther informed me- when I asked her what she thought- that my usual sense of humor was inexplicably absent.  I concur.  Partly due to my current mood- I am a Cancer, after all, and partly due to the serious nature of the message I’m offering, my rapier wit has temporarily fled me.  Sorry, I’m sure I’ll lighten up forthwith.

Finally, The Astrology:

We move into September directly after the first of two eclipses with a Pluto station on the 7th and the second eclipse on the 11th.   Brisk planetary activity will continue in October with the stationing of Mercury, Chiron, and Neptune.  In November, both Mars and Uranus will station, and in December a significant conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto will occur, along with the first station of Saturn within the sign of Virgo.

I see the two eclipses as basically laying down a plan, or an intention, for the following six months. Likewise, February of 2008 will provide a separate, but continued, theme for the next six months.  But let me stay with what is at hand, for there is plenty to absorb.

As I just stated, the energy of the eclipses of August 28 and September 11 (yeah, that’s right, Sept. 11!) will play out over a long term period.  That being said, it is not as if September won’t be an active month.  With a Pluto station sandwiched in-between these Lunar/Solar events, we should witness a few things beginning to pop.

In both eclipses the energy points toward a revolutionary breaking away from limiting and dangerous belief structures.  There is a challenge to overcome fear and to do what it takes to move toward what would be helpful and healing.  Both events point to personal and transpersonal levels of experience.

In the Lunar event of the 28th, literally every planet fell into a Grand Square formation.  All oppositions and squares, meaning a highly charged, volatile situation with the Sun an Saturn lining up on the South Node of the Moon and the Moon and Uranus falling on the North Node of the Moon.  Square to that “destiny line” were Mars on one side and Jupiter and Pluto on the other.  The Solar event of the 11th lays out quite similarly.  No need to complicate things with detailed explications (as I sometimes do).  I’ll just give the basic scoop.

Yes, the intricacies here are complex, but it is not difficult to envision horrendous struggle and thinly veiled recrimination.  The energies of the squares (and oppositions) are pulling and rending at each other; it is an intense conflict between Darkness and Light.  It is up to us, as individuals and groups, to determine what we hold to be dark or light.  I do not presume to project my determinations upon anyone.  My readers already know where I stand, at least politically.

I think it is best not to stand in resistance to what we determine to be false, or out of alignment, but to choose to align with what we determine to be our truth and our desired direction would be preferable.  In this way we may operate outside the conflagration.  For instance, it is more effective to be Pro-Peace than to be Anti-War.

I am not suggesting we reject friends and family members (or whoever and whatever) and banish them forever from our lives.  We may, however, remove ourselves energetically and emotionally from their fields if we deem it necessary.  We do not know what will happen in the future; things may shift again.  But for now we must have the courage to act for ourselves if, of course, we desire to move forward into Aquarius.

From here on I envision huge continued conflict within the US Government about the continuation of the Iraq occupation, beyond the scope of what we’ve seen so far.  Also, the battle about the Justice Dept. concerning the firing and appointment of judges, along with the whole mess about domestic spying has not even gotten started yet.  In effect, it is the thorough corruption of our government that is at issue.

Another thing to keep in mind would be Mars conjuncting the cusp of the US 7th house (foreign relations) during the 1st eclipse.  On top of that, Mars conjuncts the US Mars during the second eclipse.  Both are very war-like positions, and they are being further intensified by other planets in the geometrical configurations.

Saturn is on a conjunction to the South Node (past karma) during both eclipses, and this indicates the powers that be desperately hanging onto their claim to world domination.  I foresee close to two years worth of  karmic battle.  Whether this adds up to impeachment or not remains to be seen, but this Fall look for events to zero in on hitherto unimaginable heights of dividedness.

The darkness/light theme is enhanced by the aforementioned Pluto station of September 7.  Since we should include around 10 days on either side of the exact day, we are already in it.  Anything could happen, so be prepared.

Which brings me to a concluding theme for this issue.  Many of us are already in touch with the fact that the world in which we live is actually “maya,” or illusion.  The eastern spiritual disciplines tell us not to be attached to what is not real.  Now, and in the days to come, we would do well to remember our outer experience is maya.  If we focus on playing with co-creating, using the law of attraction, and healing our blockages in the creative flow, then we will fare well, no matter what happens.

All of what I have mentioned, and more, is supposed to happen.  We need to trust that we are perfectly on track in all things.  We can help out by being true to ourselves and maintaining integrity within our own vibrations.

Trustfully Yours,

Joshua Hayward, Co-Director of LSI

July/August 07

First, a correction:
In the last issue almost all of you were informed that Cindy Crawford had retired from the peace movement. Of course, I meant Cindy Sheehan, and I’m sure all of you figured that out. Still, I feel I should set the record straight. A little humor never hurts. One reader suggested a “Freudian slip” to be the underlying cause, and I cannot argue, although another significant point is Sheehan’s Camp Casey’s location in “Crawford,” Texas. And I know you were only laughing at me, not with me, right?

It turns out Cindy is back; she is going to march (hike) from Georgia to Washington, DC. Fare you well, my friend, and hope you had a good, if brief, vacation. I, too, return to the scene, if only for a momentary interlude…

One last chance?
My attitude of late has been: “Wake me up when impeachment begins”. The illusion we falsely perceive as reality is only a dream, anyway. Before Bush, the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and the subsequent passing of the Patriot Act, followed by the invasion of Iraq, I had weaned myself off of world politics, and indulgence in seriousness- due to excessive belief in externalized “reality”- had become a thing of the past.

Mostly.

Then I became ensnared once again. As did many of you, I’m sure, the stolen election of 2000 caught me by surprise. But I thought, “What the hell,” until the neocons got rolling. Then I got hooked by fear and outrage. My compassion for humanity and my love for the planet served as hooks. Some dark, unresolved fear and anger reeled me in, and I resumed my old role of the 1960’s and ‘70’s as revolutionary and savior. The costume still fit, and my place on stage had been reserved.

Again and again, I relearn the lesson: Astrology only presents the energetic doorways as opportunities. You can lead the horse of humanity to the trough, but as for the drinking part…?

So here we go again. Bush has refused to supply the documents subpoenaed by Congress concerning the firings of federal prosecutors. This is the advent for the showdown we have awaited for many years.

Anticlimax, or an epiphany? Anti-Christ or anathema?

Here’s the bait- shall I be lured to strike? How about you?

No, I’ll not be drawn from my Center, but it seems to me that the final chance has arisen to do some healing on our governmental structures by way of impeachment. Does Bush have the legal right to defy Congressional subpoena? He has made a career of circumventing US law and the Constitution, and now, finally, he could meet his Waterloo (Watergate?).
Let’s not hold our collective breath. We may, however, anticipate a reflection of what we have been co-creating.

Let us recall that transformation follows death.

The Astrological aspects of transit for this Fall will likely reveal an unfolding direction for our society. During the last seven years we have discovered how long these things take to play out, usually without a shred of satisfaction for progressives who desire positive change.

Just what kind of death remains to be seen, but the (perhaps formerly) separate branches of the US Government are (seemingly) set on a collision course. This political demolition derby should begin to rev up this September and build to a shattering climax toward the end of 2007.

And then, Federal Court will lead to impeachment, or not.

Let us endeavor to remember that what we resist will persist.

Just a thought.

Another thought is to wish Scooter Libby a continued charmed life in his chosen role as a forgiven flunky. Hope you and Ollie North enjoy having drinks and reminiscing about parallel felonious moments serving your Presidents.

The clunky lack of subtlety in Bush’s commutation of Libby’s prison sentence cannot help but add an extra helping of karma to be heaped on the President’s parade when the doo-doo and the fan are introduced.

And now, the news:

July crash lands upon us with ten days of Mercury’s latest retrograde. Personally, I’ll be glad to see the end of that, but be that as it may, the problems that have arisen for us are all healing themselves and were issues which needed attention at any rate. Check to see if that is true for yourself as well. After the 10th of the month, things will return to the normal sort of insanity.

Presently, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are all in retrograde along with Mercury. The internalizing of many lessons is upon us. In fact, I see this summer as a fertile time to work on issues which arose during the winter and the spring. Of course, this processing can be done during vacations and playing. All this retrograding energy is highly magnetic, and it is as if solutions are being pulled to us.

Another possible scenario could be encountering our (unconscious) resistance to not receiving what we desire being mirrored back to us through delays and detours. My suggestion is not to take this kind of reflection as a rejection or a failure. Instead, take the reflection as a sign of readiness for empowerment. Let’s keep our eyes on the road but be mindful of what we are experiencing. If roadblocks throw themselves at us, we should see this as a positive sign that we getting closer to core solutions. Be encouraged, not dismayed. We should be willing to look at our lives as wounded healers as well as a creators. It is absolutely true that we embody both of these archetypes.

The process of Dynamic Mind, Creative Heart energetically integrates the archetypes of the conscious co-creator and the wounded healer through a transformative alchemy which can truly be life-changing. Where our creative energies are either blocked or not flowing smoothly is an area where the Wounded Healer can operate in a very beneficial manner. For a more detailed explanation of this process, use the contact info below.

Late in the month of July a rare station of the planet Venus comes in the sign of Virgo. Venus will then retrograde back into Leo and eventually station again to go direct in early September, this time on a sextile to Mars. The planet of Love will return to early Virgo where it originally stationed on October 12th, just as- you guessed it- Mercury goes retrograde again. But I’m getting ahead of myself. We are just getting out of a current Mercury retrograde, and I don’t want to get going on another one.

One aspect of life to be aware of during the Venus retrograde is our relationship with what we do as work. Do we love what we do, or not? Another angle is creativity (Leo). We have a couple of months here to be imaginative in our work. If things feel dull, it is probably a result of lack of imagination. We need a balance between detail and creative flow.

For those of us who wish learn more about art, perhaps to take classes in plastic arts or art appreciation, August and September would be the perfect time.

The sextile to Mars combines action with inspiration and vision. Since Mars is in the sign of Gemini at the time the mind will be free and flexible, so action should be relatively unfettered.

On the 29th of July comes a Full Moon in early Aquarius, and on the following days Mars pulls into a square aspect to Saturn, from Taurus to Leo. Also at this time Saturn is coming into a sextile to Pluto in another heavenly transit, from late Taurus to late Sagittarius. These configurations seem to me to be a complex admixture of energies and difficult to read.

On the 7th on August, still close enough to be in the mix with these confusing energies just mentioned, Jupiter stations to go direct early in the sign of Sagittarius, on a wide trine to Mercury in Leo. In and of itself, this event would be beneficial for magical thinking, for getting breakthroughs and using the info by sending intentions back out to the Universe.

Coming on the back end of the Full Moon and the other stated aspects, though, I wonder if there might be a huge logjam which the Jupiter station begins to break apart. This could all be about putting inspiration and detailed focus to work, again what I see as the theme of the Venus retrograde.

Do not be surprised by any frustrations which arise in late July and early August. It seems as if a release (and a relief) comes with the Jupiter station. Much will be learned, especially if we pay attention to the Wounded Healer’s relationship to the Conscious Co-Creator. These two archetypes (Chiron and Pluto) came to terms with each other during a conjunction during the year 2000. Chiron emerged from Hades at this time and regained a powerful working relationship with humanity. The Enlightened Centaur is available to help us break though our disappointments to create the lives our Souls truly desire.

A crucially important Lunar Eclipse occurs late in August which, along with other important planetary aspects, will begin to turn the course of humanity ever closer to the tipping point in our history I predict for the latter part of 2009 and the beginning of 2010. My next column will ensue just before that time. Until then, stay open, and don’t lose your sense of humor.

Yours in Smiles

March 2007
As we enter the month of March, 2007, we need to be prepared for some sudden changes in our reality as individuals, communities, and as a country. Planetary activity is gearing up for accelerated change. For the last couple of months growth has come mostly from inner motivation, but that is about to shift. While all external events somehow reflect the state of our inner being, the following few weeks will make it seem as if we need to transform our lives in order to respond to a changing world.

Beginning last Fall, 2006, and perhaps even the previous Spring, 2006, we entered a specific time frame which will extend approximately through the first half of 2010. If we were to look from a distance, as if through a window of time/space, we would witness our collective selves bravely seeking creative choices to safely direct our transition into the Aquarian Times.

In previous articles I have foreshadowed this period of time as one of the most significant segments in human history (her-story). We have some collective decisions to make as to how we are to continue as a species, and we would do well to make them soon.

For instance, global warming is not something to be addressed on down the line in the future. Ask the Inuit tribes of Alaska and Canada who stand to lose their way of life within the next generation if climate change is not slowed or reversed. Another fundamental global issue, though one that doesn’t receive much air time anymore, perhaps due to religious implications, is overpopulation. With billions too many people to achieve social or ecological sustainability on the planet, coupled with radical climate change seriously threatening us with forced demographic alteration (hello, New Orleans!), I would say some pro-active initiatives coming within the next two or three years are in order.

These are only a couple of interwoven issues, and everyone knows there are many more requiring immediate attention. But our so-called leaders, along with a significant enough segment of the world’s (particularly the US) population, seem to hold to beliefs that the current forums will eventually prevail over any inconvenient dilemmas. A disturbing example of non-motivation I have observed since January 1st is that not enough Democrats in Congress seem not to feel a sense of urgency around obviously dire circumstances.

I do.

I stand in firm conviction that time frame to which I refer is critical. We are on the very verge of discovering the true nature of human experience on the planet and in the cosmos, which is the blessing we have been building towards for many eons. Awareness of the Law of Attraction and attunement to conscious co-creation are on society’s horizon, yet we remain mired in the crumbling remnants of what used to be. The problem is fear of and resistance to the necessary change, propagated by the leaders of government and religion, and believed by those who follow seemingly by default choice.

I can say with certainty that nothing may prevent the desired changes if we without fear do not allow it. We as individuals and groups have more power than we are aware of. Remember that relentless public pressure resulted in stopping the Vietnam War. I only say this to remind people who care about people to be prepared in these times to embrace the highest good as never before.

That being said, let me get back to the astrology of March. I’ll need to discuss April as well for reasons which will become obvious.

Two eclipses will occur in March, and two planets will station (change direction). The Total Lunar Eclipse falls on March 3, in the afternoon, and the Solar Eclipse comes on March 18, in the evening. Neither will be visible in the United States, but they will certainly have an effect. Mercury will go back direct on March 8, and Pluto will go retrograde on March 31. Also to be mentioned is a Mars/Neptune conjunction on March 26.

April is no less active with Jupiter stationing to go retrograde on the 6th and Saturn going direct on the 19th. Jupiter stations on an exact trine (positive angle) to Saturn, and then, coincidentally, Saturn stations on a trine to Jupiter, on respective dates. Also, on the 2nd of the month- right in the Pluto Station- Mercury and Uranus exactly come into conjunction with the North Node of the Moon (energetic direction).

I mention all this technical stuff to go on record as the source of my information (as always). For those unfamiliar with the inner workings of astrology, do not be daunted- explanations will follow.

Jupiter is currently well disposed to the United States natal chart. This country is under many planetary influences, but Jupiter’s positive effect seems to be prominent at this time. With that in mind, the beneficial energy of the trine to Saturn, emphasized by the two stationing periods coming back to back, indicates new realizations and understanding coming in with ample ability for implementation. Also, Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is favorably angling at the US Saturn (government). The Mars/Neptune conjunction I mentioned is also prominently affecting the US chart, as are both of the March Eclipses. As well, don’t forget that Hurricane Katrina happened during a Pluto station. Okay, I know this sounds complicated, and it is. But bear with me here.

The overall planetary “intent” seems to be positive advancement (Jupiter, Chiron) for the country, but our “leaders” tend to have a bent idea of what is represents common good for us. There have been plenty of beneficial planetary openings for change in the last few years, but I have not seen our leaders take advantage of a single one of them. In fact, they seem to be of the conviction that continued war and violence is what’s best for America.

The upshot of it is this: it is likely that Bush and Co. will begin to invade Iran, very soon. It may not appear exactly the same as Iraq, but the effect will be similar. The timing is likely by the last part of March-beginning of April, but it might take a little longer. I could be wrong about this, but probably not. Just to be clear, I am indicating initial steps here, not necessarily a full blown war.

What could be the beneficial part of the deal would be the people of the US finally rising up to put an end to the injustice. It is possible that enough will have been enough. I am not cynical enough to think there aren’t some decent leaders out there who will listen to the truth spoken loud enough and long enough. Things usually happen at a mind-numbingly slow pace in this country (when it comes to politics), but we may see some acceleration starting in March and continuing in April.

I do not expect to see any kind of quick end to the Iraq war, but I expect that any military action concerning Iran will mobilize citizens and lawmakers against the President. My thinking is that it will have to be crystal clear to all parties that the insanity must cease. In other words, the politicians will have to be made certain that they will suffer no fallout before they pass legislation to end funding for Iraq (and Iran) which is capable of overriding a veto. They will need to feel safe to sincerely initiate an impeachment process, but I believe this is definitely in the offing.

Now comes the more fun part of the article. Here is where we get to look at things on a more personal level. I am aware that many of us have ceased putting energy into what is playing out on the big stage drama by the folks we see on television, in the papers, and on the Internet. And that is good and as it should be. I, too, have been shifting my energetic direction, and my choice of focus is now writing, music, and Dynamic Mind, Creative Heart workshops. I am noticing many “progressives” are turning their energy to creating more abundant and harmonious lives for themselves. I referred earlier to the Law of Attraction and a process I call Conscious Co-creation.

The Law of Attraction is an energetic principle which roughly states that we attract what we focus our attention upon. Conscious co-creation uses the aforementioned law not only to create a better life, but it allows us to become more aware of our relationship with causality. I am witnessing more and more people awakening to their true spiritual power.

Not only does our country have opportunities for positive growth in the near future, we as individuals and groups do too. Both March Eclipses line up in the Virgo/Pisces polarity, which pertains to healing and putting things on the right track. If we allow ourselves to sacrifice up the wounds and hurts we so cherish because they justify our limitations, perhaps we can take the energy caught up in that drama and “re-deploy” our forces (through spiritual power) toward the creation of a better quality life. That may mean different things to different people, and that is how it should be.

The Saturn/Neptune opposition from Leo to Aquarius, which I have mentioned on various occasions, is still in effect, and it has the design of opening up creative frequencies on the planet. This is the primary planetary aspect of this time. It is joined by the Jupiter/Saturn trine referred to above and by the Jupiter/Uranus square I discussed in the last two articles. All of these planetary relationships point to accelerated use of the Law of Attraction and employment of process of Conscious Co-creation.

I advise a viewing of the movie, “The Secret,” if you have not seen it, as soon as possible. This DVD will cast illumination into the possibilities which lay within us as human beings with Divine Spirits. The movie makes a decent companion to our new course of study at the Light Source Institute. We have been posting workshops on our website (link below). We have two groups of students going in Denver, and we have one here in Ouray, with another to begin very soon.

I have a text booklet now available which accompanies the workshops and may be read separately, if desired. Please inquire through the contact info below. I am expanding the text to a full length book which will probably be out by this coming Fall. I am also available to do this work with clients by the phone, so keep that in mind.

In the meantime, during March and April, I advise healing and to re-focusing. To spend time and energy on endeavors which do not warrant the effort would be a waste. I will write again sometime during April, but probably not at the 1st of the month. Until then, be well.

Creatively Yours,
Joshua Hayward
